Mainstream

These classes are for anyone who has gone through our 6 week intro course or has done something similar else where. This requirement is due to the technical nature of some of our bar work and is important to make sure the foundations are there to build on.

We address three main core areas of fitness: weight training; gymnastics; aerobic capacity which keeps the classes varied and fun.

This is a coached program so you will always have some one watching, cueing and teaching you, along with the motivation and fun of working in a class environment. You will never be left to your own devices and your program will always be there waiting for you. You just need to turn up.

Weight Training

This is based around the olympic lifts and focuses on building power; using explosive speed, strength and dynamic movements. Along with these benefits, learning these lifting techniques correctly will also help keep you safe in your day to day activities.

Gymnastics

This is based on the elements of fitness that are focused on body weighted movements. The ranges of exercises involved in gymnastics improves flexibility; co-ordination; balance; core stability and strength development. It incorporates a fun and challenging element into training as well as improving your everyday movements

Aerobic Capacity

This part focuses on the cardiovascular side of training at RX Fitness 235. We use a variety of modalities such as running, rowing and cycling and is designed to maintain and improve an individuals ability to train harder for longer.
