HOW WE SUPPORT OUR FEMALE ATHLETES

We have had the pleasure of seeing many members transition through their pregnancy and postpartum journey with us at Rx Fitness 235.  Being a Mum of 3, Nikki understands the importance of the support around training and life that is needed at this time.
 
So, we have developed a specific process to make sure we provide this to our female athletes as they make this transition. We make sure that we create a strong support team for you by working with your healthcare providers to make sure we are all on the same page and supporting you in the best way possible.

 

WE OFFER 1:1 CONSULTATIONS

In these consultations we provide knowledge and education on core and pelvic floor health. We look at options to customise movements appropriate to the athlete in front of us and provide the appropriate referrals where needed. We assess movements together, discuss concerns and symptoms, provide some strategies to be able to safely move forward with your goals – all while offering the opportunity to see other healthcare providers if necessary.
 
Our job is to advocate for you and your needs.
 
These sessions are $90 for an hour and include a pre-screening questionnaire and follow up email.
 

If you are a member with us, these notes will be summarised for the Coaching staff to ensure we are all on the same page and that you feel supported, safe and well cared for in your training. If you train elsewhere, we can provie this summary to your coaches at your request and keep the lines of communication open to best serve you.
